I’d Marry You All Over Again

A ceremony in which a married couple renews their wedding vows is also called a reaffirmation. In this age of divorce, it’s a wonderful thing to see! The ceremony can take the form of a formal wedding, a semiformal affair in a rented banquet hall, an informal home buffet or cocktail party, or anything in between. Some have themes, like the couple who recreated their Hawaiian honeymoon!

There are similarities between weddings and vow renewals, but etiquette can be adapted and even invented in this case. As an added bonus, there are no legalities to worry about.

This is an adaptation of Shari Grenier’s best-selling wedding etiquette book, Weddingology, especially tailored to couples planning a beautiful tribute to their lasting love.
